Resume

Mora has led an adventurous and creative life, which is reflected in her diverse professional experience. Mora began her studies in Paris, France with a focus on French Language and Interior Architecture. Her career in fashion was launched during this time - styling young models for Ford Models. After a few years in Paris, Mora returned to the United States, splitting her time between New York and Los Angeles, working on creative design projects for Ford Models NYC and Balazs Properties, including the legendary Chateau Marmont and The Mercer hotels. It was during this time that she was introduced to the world of luxury properties and hospitality, and where she developed her keen eye for detail.

Later Mora held leadership positions at New York’s top Modeling Agencies, as Director of Development at IMG Models, and Director of Elite Model Management. It was here that she sharpened her negotiation skills and built a strong professional network. Working with high-profile clients she learned the importance of confidentiality and trust.

After becoming a mother, Mora made the decision to move back to California to be closer to her family. For the next seven years she worked as an Estate Manager for a private family with homes in Carmel by the Sea and Pebble Beach. During her tenure as an estate manager, Mora managed the operation and maintenance of multiple properties, supervised major renovations and interior design projects, and oversaw the sale and purchase of multiple multi-million dollar properties. In 2009 Mora moved back to her hometown in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada where she enjoyed a successful career in economic development and tourism marketing.

Most recently, Mora played an integral role in the re-launch of the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, where she held the position of executive director. Beyond her role in re-launching the Academy, she was in charge of the design and launch of de Gerenday’s Fine Art Materials and Curiosities.

Since 2019, Mora has lived in Essex, CT, where she spends her free time exploring and enjoying the abundance of riches that Connecticut has to offer - historical sites/museums, local cuisine, antique shops, independent bookstores, farms and farmers markets, cultural events, performing arts, art galleries and natural resources.
